This is the Authentic Hoffman Tactical Super Safety. The Super Safety is an active reset safety that allows the AR-15 to fire quickly and efficiently. Before proceeding, please confirm that the Super Safety will work with your gun. The below video is a good overview. In summery: The Super Safety is compatible with AR-15’s featuring a mil-spec bolt carrier and fire control group. Other guns can work, but should be considered experimental.
This kit contains all parts required to install the Super Safety into a compatible AR-15. The following parts are included:
- 17-4 Stainless Steel Cam
- 17-4 Stainless Steel Lever
- Super Safety compatible Detent
- 304 Stainless Steel Centering Block
- Custom Cut Schmid Trigger
17-4 parts are metal injection molded and surface hardened. Note that the trigger cut may be different that shown in the video, we are improving the process and profile as time goes on.
